NEW PROJECT, NEW MEMBERS!

THIS IS AN OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS AND VOLUNTEERS!

Hey guys! We are back! We have been away working on our next big project. In September, we will be participating in Flux Projects. We have been working hard on formulating our ideas and now we are ready to work! We are looking for more members, volunteers, assistants, performers, musicians, artists, hard workers, and friends. We are an open art collective, focusing on collaboration across all mediums of art. Come join us!

email us at dodekapus@gmail.com for more information on how to get involved!

Also, thank you so much for coming out to Carnival: a Living Walls fundraiser! We had a ton of fun, and raised some money for our good ol' friends Living Walls. They still need more help, so watch out for more events you can attend to help them out, like this saturday night! INFO HERE:

This Saturday--July 23--Living Walls is hosting both a yard sale and a party. Each event is a variation of the Really Really Free Market concept: if you bring can(s) of paint to the yard sale, you can exchange them for other things at the yard sale. If you bring can(s) of paint to the party later that night, you'll get beer in return.

---Yard Sale: from 9am-2pm---

Looking to get rid of some things? Donate them to the yard sale. Drop them off at the above address anytime this week; contact Alex at alexandra@livingwallsconference.com.

----Party: from 7pm-12am----

Trade paint for beer. Of course, the amounts vary depending on how much paint you donate.

Note: If you do not have paint, please bring money instead.

COME SUPPORT LIVING WALLS.

Artadia's mission is to encourage innovative practice and meaningful dialogue across the United States by providing visual artists in specific communities with unrestricted awards and a national network of support. Founded in 1997, Artadia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Artadia Awards are determined through a jury process that employs nationally prominent curators, artists, and arts professionals. Since its founding, Artadia has awarded over $2 million to more than 200 artists in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, and the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2009, Artadia launched a New york residency program for Artadia Awardees at the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), Brooklyn. Most recently, Artadia inaugurated a national publications and Exhibitions Exchange program offering Awardees crucial exposure on a national level.

Generous support for Atlanta artists with Artadia has been provided by foundations including the Judith Alexander Foundation and the LUBO Fund, and individual contributions led by Board member Louis Corrigan in addition to Robert Brawner, Paul Hagedorn, Lauren & Tim Schrager, and New York Board member Marie Samuels.
